Dear United States Military:
On this Memorial Day, I want to take a moment to thank all of you who defend our freedom each day. I want to express my gratitude to the families and friends of those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in defending our nation. The service and sacrifice of those who serve in uniform helps to keep America the exceptional country it is. While you may not always receive the appreciation you deserve, I want you to know that there are millions of Americans, including myself, who think the world of you and wake up proud to be Americans. You play a significant role in allowing us to enjoy living in the greatest beacon of hope, freedom, and opportunity in the world: America.
In closing, you all are truly superior Americans and heroes and heroines. I understand that freedom is not free. Thanks for all you do for America!

Ginnie, your son is an American hero. It’s the least I can do to show honor to our great men and women who serve in uniform. I very much appreciate your son’s service and the sacrifice that your family and friends make because of his service. Thank you!
Loved it! Straight to the point and much respect given to the service men and women that have fought in this country. My sister is an ex-Marine (Semper Fidelis) *Always Faithful* Honestly, I still don’t agree with the wars but I respect the men and women that serve our country. My heart goes out to the families that have lost their loves one as well. Thanks Tony for having such a mind-blowing sight that makes people think from different perspectives. Embracing our differences and collectively coming together to share our thoughts, feelings, and indifference is the melting pot of America.
Thank you very much! Many of the men and women who serve in uniform don’t always agree with the wars either (me too), but one of the things that make them so great is they don’t complain they just immediately go and serve our great nation. Thank you for reading, your very kind words, and for your response!
